On April 19, 2001, the old world tradition of fur trapping and trading lost a legend. His name was Bruce R. Gould. From a converted farm in Plymouth, Maine, Bruce ran his successful fur buying company and was a trapper and sportsman himself. Bruce was a well known personality in the state of Maine as well as the trapping community throughout America and was a strong supporter and member of the Maine Trapper's Association, the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine, and the National Rifle Association. With his hearty laugh, strong persona, smart business sense, and lovable personality, Bruce was truly part of Maine's rustic scenery.

This documentary, currently in production, will focus on the life of Bruce Gould, the trapper, the business man, and the person. Join us in the North Maine Woods and discover the life of a legend.

This film, dedicated to the memory of Bruce, will be presented to the Maine Trapper's Association as a chronicle of the man's life and to preserve his memory for the next generation in the years to come.
